Despite having acquired my first pair of glasses over a year ago now, I’m still wrestling with the idea of wearing them. My eyesight has gotten significantly worse and I find that the amount of text I can’t read without them on seems to grow almost daily.
It’s not that they’re ugly. They’re nice enough. It’s not that I don’t like glasses; I find glasses incredibly cute on the opposite sex. But they just feel alien on me. When they rest on the bridge of my nose, they feel heavy and they itch. Seriously. Itch. And now these very glasses aren’t enough, even when I have them on it’s still a struggle to read the text.
I know. I need to make another appointment to get my eyes tested, again. And no doubt get another pair that will also spend more time in the case then actually in place on my eyes.
